How Hot Is An Electrical Power Plant Fire Explosion?

I kind of have two questions:
1. How hot is electricity itself?
2. How much heat can a power plant electrical explosion produce? How hot can it be?

One Response to How Hot Is An Electrical Power Plant Fire Explosion?

  1. Marcus R says:

    1. Electricity is never hot, but it can cause fire when not properlyutilized.
    2. A short circuit in a metal-clad circuit breaker could cause copper cables to melt, but the power plant building won’t catch fire because, it is usually made of concrete and noncombustible materials. It could raise temperatures up to 2950 deg C at the point of short-circuit.
