After researching several products, I decided to try the AeroGarden Soft Tie for plants to assist in training vines, grapes, roses, etc. It works beautifully without damaging the plants and I would definitely recommend this product. I like that I am able to adjust the size as needed since I was working with training roses and grapes on trellises and vines growing up fencing and brick.

It’s very easy to work with and to cut and mold to any size or shape. I wish the foam was slightly thicker, but it does stay bonded to the wire core very well and because it retains it’s shape you don’t need to use alot of it.

These are a bit pricey but they were exactly what I wanted for securing my black raspberry canes to a trellis. I found that unpadded ties sometimes damaged the canes.
